Baby gift idea
my boss had her second baby and she is returning to work on monday she has very expensive taste and i would like to get her something for the baby. i was considering one of those 3 piece baby china sets from Tiffany. but do you really use those?
any other exquisite gift ideas would be very helpful.
thanks in advance!

I think Tiffanys has some adorable and timeless pieces. What about the sliver brush and comb set they sell?

Re: Baby gift idea
Mel, why not something brand name ish that the baby can wear. I know Burberry (your fav) has some really cute clothing. Or stuff from Pottery Barn?

WOAH!! Moving on then....
I like the Burberry idea.. esp. if it's your fave and your boss knows it's your fave.

Janie and Jack is a pretty exclusive store. You can get Burberry on sale at Bloomies sometimes. I personally wouldn't buy the utensils/combs or anything else like that from a high-end store...it's just not practical. I would buy some high-end outfits, but size up because most likely she has stuff for the first few months.

Re: Baby gift idea
What about a small Jay Strongwater or Edgar Berebi frame? The tiny ones tend to run between $120-250.
I know that's one of my favorite gifts for DD. Actually, I was given two, so I keep one in her room and one on my nightstand with her picture in it.
Shame you don't have time because Papo d'Anjo has beautiful stuff. You'd have to call them to find a boutique that carries their line near you.
How about a cashmere baby blanket? I'm sure there are high end baby/childrens' boutiques in your area that carry them.
