OMG how weird is this!!! Kind of scary
I don't even know if this is funny or scary,LOL. Weeeirdo!!!
I have Yahoo messenger . Someone keeps sending me weird IMs all day today . Here is part of what this person just sent me :
This is difficult for me to do because I'm shy..but I have a crush on you, i have been sending you emails but no response
I've never been able to tell you for reasons which you would quickly identify as obvious if you knew who this was.
With that said, I want you to guess who I am, and approach me yourself.
To help you out with your guessing I made a few pictures and videos with "MY NAME*" written on my body.

"MY NAME" meaning that this person has my first name. I had similar problem with Skype and I changed my name and now this???? what heck is going on

??? Were there pics or a video included? Can you get a virus through IM? it seems so generic that I would think it could be something that is a virus carrying vehicle. Like there is an attachment, you open it bc it's compelling, even in a weird way, then you have a virus.
FWIW, if it's a real person, who in their right mind would want to approach someone who has a crush on me who wrote their name on their body? Creepy.
ETA: I saw your update that they had your name on their body. Weird...
Was there an attachment? I'd wouldn't open it.

Not sure,lol. This "person" requested to be my friend on YM all day and I denied and now this . Laptop is constantly checking for viruses , plus this is a new Yahoo name I have so who knows .... anyway... I did the ignore this person thingy and signed out for a while so..... whatever it is hopefully it won't come back.

chances are it might be some type of BOT or someone working for an adult website.
i get soooo many msgs thru Yahoo like that -- where it says "hi--i really have a crush on you -- been wanting to chat, so i set up this link" and its a link to a porno site.
i would just block them

OMG I know. I get them every day, soooo anoying. I was just shocked by this one bc it was different from all the other ones I ever get. I never get someone actually using my name and "chatting" with me, especially after I decline their friend request.
