so, I am going to try this again....we'll see what happens.

a few weeks back I responed to a question about feeling like you have a "mental chip" missing with regard to your feelings of pregnancy etc.

I responded openly and honestly and how I felt, and how I felt badly about feeling that way. I even alluded to being pg in that thread by saying (I feel like I am cursing my unborn child etc)

I am 33 years old. I have been with my husband since I was 19. I delayed pregnancy this long b/c of those fears. I found out about 2 weeks before that that I was in fact pregnant. had been to the doctor for confirmation but had not at that point heard a heartbeat or anything else to make me feel comfortable enough to share. and, I just was not mentally ready.

there has been much ado made about my post...that I didn't "belong" on that board...but I really don't see how my response belonged any where other than there.

I didn't make a post on that board saying "please reassure me childless people" nothing like that. I didn't chose the placement of the OP, I just chose to respond to it.

apparently at least one poster felt "duped" by me. but I don't even know who he/she is. why? b/c all the good stuff happened at night..and haters and fans alike know I don't come on at night.

I am honestly disappointed that I was not given the opportunity to respond to that thread. I heard it was quite juicy...some of the "worst" beating people have seen a poster take.

nothing i write is ever personal to anyone other than me. my fm box is always open to those that take issue with what I say. I don't hold grudges..and I don't even care if I *think* you don't like me. you take the time to address a grievance with me and I will address you respectfully and in kind. (I think even Don can attest to that )

but this I just cannot abide by. I have never been upset by anything on LIF before...and maybe it's my hormones or what, but I was seething. it's just not healthy or right...considering my intentions were to never hurt anyone, and to respect all of the posters on the boards.

I have never been above apologizing to anyone...all it takes is a simple fm and discussion, so yeah, I guess I'm hurt that, especially considering the subject matter, it wasn't even attempted.

Well as a poster on that board I did not feel "duped" or hoodwinked or anything. I don't quite get why so many people got upset, but whatever, its done, the thread was pulled.

An FM to you should have been done - not a passive agressive thread about you. Just wasn't fair to me at all - and I voiced my opinion on it last nite and early this morning.

I dont feel you should have to explain to anyone. You were on the board because you are still a childless family. ..and you were being honest about your fears. We all have them.

Rest assured RED was challenged by both the breeders and the child free on the inappropriateness of starting that thread. Sorry I don't see the point in dancing circles around around the poster's name. YOu post it, you own it.

I'm sorry but it's just funny.

It's a god-dammned MESSAGE BOARD. People who take offense, or feel duped, or get upset at ANYTHING that's written on a message board ESPECIALLY if you don't know the person in real life is a tool. A certified tool and should maybe step away from the computer and concentrate on coming back to reality.
