WWYD poll ABOUT POTTY TRAINING

DD has been getting her 2 yr molars in and has been very cranky and unreasonable.. throwing tantrums and so forth. so far only the bottom 2 are breaking through and i know the top 2 are right behind....
should i wait until they come inot start training or it doesnt matter...

Start now if she is ready. And btw, my DD got her bottom 2 year molars and 3 months later, have yet to see the top.

I said to start now.
Everytime dd had a milestone I thought I would not start something bc of it and it really only prolonged us doing what needed to be done.

It doesn't hurt to try now and see how she responds. From the advice everyone has given me on these boards, the right little rewards could get her going and maybe even take her mind off of her teeth.

I say start now--if it's not teeth, then it's always going to be something in the life of a two year old! Chat Icon

You don't have to push the situation. Just put the potty out (assuming you have one) and see if she asks what it is, etc. If that's going well and she's showing an interest, then encourage her to tell her when she needs to use it--or put her on it periodically throughout the day. But try and make her think it's *her* choice, KWIM?
