Ricola Natural Honey Throat drops
Are these safe to have????
I have the WORST sore throat & nothing is working. The active ingredients are menthol 2.0mg
There is nothing on the package that states to contact if pregnant!!!

Re: Ricola Natural Hony Throat drops
i would THINK you should be fine. It can't hurt you to use one or two and then call the OB in the morning!
i know when i was sick badly last week - i was told cough drops - but i had to get the sugar free ones (because of the GD)..

Re: Ricola Natural Hony Throat drops
I LIVE on these....and not for coughs or sore throats, just because my voice gets so tired teaching all day. I was always worried in the back of my mind, but figured they'd be okay since they're herbal.

Re: Ricola Natural Hony Throat drops
my OB told me anything that DOESN'T HAVE MENTHOL is safe .... which is basically only Luden's cherry.
eta: the pharmacist at CVS said the same thing, without knowing my OB said it first. Apparently menthol is bad.

Re: Ricola Natural Hony Throat drops
My OB also said cough drops were okay. But it's always good to call. And of course, don't chain suck the whole bag in one day!!!
