Octuplet mom on the today show
They showed part of an interview with her and ann curry on the today show this morning
she said she hopes her family, friends and church will help her, but after she gets her masters degree in counseling that's how she plans on having enough $ to take care of her kids
she sounded crazy! and the Dr. KNEW she already had 6 kids, and she wanted all the embryos transferred
after seeing her and listening to her, she sounds CRAZY

Ummmm.....I have a Master's degree in Counseling and no way could I support 14 children on it. She is in la la land if she thinks we believe her BS.

I know! My DH has a PharmD and I'm working on my PhD (already have my masters) and we hope that we can take care of one or two properly!
W-T-F? The woman is SO far off base!
Something is way off--she already has six so she must have some idea of how much $ it takes
and w/octuplets....the chances of physical, mental, developmental problems...
She said she is more loving because other parents don't hold their children
again W-T-F!?!?!

And how will she find any time to work at a counseling job raising 14 children. She is super crazy and this case should really change laws about who IVF should be for and how many doctors can transfer into a woman. Ugh...this thing makes me really sad.
She has also been living off disability payments because she has lower back pain from a riot that occurred in the hospital she worked at in 1999 and tried to get more when she was rear ended in a car accident on the way to the doctor to get treated because she felt without the original injury she would not be driving to the doctor. So she also abuses the system.
I hope someone gets this woman some mental counseling. And I refuse to watch anything on this woman because she is no doubt making money on being totally irresponsible.

I'm sorry but why should her family, friends and church help her out?
Did she consult with them before having this last batch?
And someone needs to tell this idiot that people in social work do good deeds and are paid pennies for that work.
Shame on NBC for paying her for her interview and giving the nutjob any publicity.

I lived in an apt and worked FT with no kids when I got my MBA and I had MANY sleepless nights!
I even went to schoool a few Sat without even showering so I could get an extra 30 minutes of studying in

she kind of sounded out of touch and it's not because of the kids or being a single parent. If I wanted some sort of counseling I don't think i would want to go to someone who seemed that "off".

She said she was going to go back to school with the help of student loans.
She did sound totally out of touch with reality.

I didn't see the clips, but I hope she appreciates her parents. They must be doing a lot for her... taking care of her kids, going back to Iraq to work, helping her obtain student loans, etc.
I have a feeling they've been given her whatever she wanted all her life.

Her husband may not have had viable sperm.. therefore had to go to a donor.
