UPDATE: I fell on the ice outside

Under the snow there was a sheet of ice. I just fell in the driveway right on my right side. I called the doctor. I have to go in tomorrow for a sonogram and non-stress test to check on the baby. Please pray all is ok.

UPDATE:
Well the baby was kicking away at the songram and it was great to see her again. The dr. reconfirmed and said she most certainly is still a girl - she pointed out her "lips" and all.

On the UGH side, my cervix is measuring at 3.0 luckily without funneling. She said this is on the low side and wants me to come back in 2 weeks to re-measure. She said for now I can continue to work (since I have a desk job) but to take it easy when at home and not to walk around too much, do housework, or heavy lifting.

oh no! she'll be ok! i fell on the ice too when i was pregnant. luckily landed on my knees... but i know how scary that is! take comfort in knowing there's a lot of cushioning around the baby!

I'm sure all will be ok, but its good you are getting a sonogram for reassurance.

Go put your feet up and let dh pamper you tonight!!! Dont worry to much, at i think 20 weeks it was, i fell down my cement steps outside onto my stomach.. and everything was okay.

have you started feeling movements of baby?

I am sure all is fine, the Babyb is SO well protected in there.
But it's good that you are going, for your own peace of mind .....


I am dreading the commute home from the city tonight -
What's the lesser of 2 evils? Walking through the slippery streets or risking getting into an accident in a cab ?? .........

many prayers i would be scared too but remember the baby is inside that super cushion!

I fell a few weeks ago - they just want to check to see if all is well. I am sure baby is fine. Don't stress - - -report back to us when u get home.

I am sure baby is fine. When I was 23 weeks I fell hard, right on my belly - ind of like I was sliding into home plate. Baby was fine, he was sleeping, when I went to the dr 3 hrs later. THere is alot of cution in there.

My friend fell on the ice 2 winters ago when she was VERY preggo with her DD. All was fine. Try to get some rest and I'm sure the sono will go well.
