my dry cleaning lady
asked me for the 3rd time when the baby was coming. i dont know if shes hinting that i look pregnant because i gained so much weight since the wedding,  or just wondering when were planning it. i said i dint know. maybe next year. i didnt want to tell her my personal life story. then she said well are u planning ?? i was like we talk about it but we dont know yet.     ughhh!!!!!

dh just got home and i told him. hes like well, yeah honey, shouldnt we baby dance now? im like no! its too late now, it wont do anything. lol. im so mean... but thats not the point. she was so pushy about it too. like ask oonce, ok. but then ask if we are planning like make a conversatiion? i wanted to be like listen lady im trying this is our 3rd month and nothing! u know how hard that is to keep making excuses when people ask and i know i havent benn successful lately???? huh?????????? huh????????????????????????that would have shut her up fast. but i couldnt. i need her to do my same day dry cleaning

one day im going to tell someone that maybe i cant have any kids and see their reaction to make them feel stupid. i know thats wrong and wouldnt wish that on anyone, but some pple need to be bitchslapped

Ugh it's so annoying. Why do people have to concern themselves with our lives.
At work my two closest friends just had babies so everyone says to me You're Next...Yea that would be nice but do you really have to throw it in my face and scream it through the hallways. Then last night i get a call from one of my friends who is out on maternity leave telling me that my co-workers are all talking about how they just know i'm pregnant and not saying anything (she is one of the very few that know that we are trying so she defended me) but seriously people MIND YOUR EFFING BUSINESS!

No one ever asked me these type of questions. It must be divine intervention because God knows the things I would say back to people.
Seriously, when people ask those types of questions to strangers they are venturing into areas they have no right to venture into. So, in my eyes, all is fair. Therefore, I would have NO problem whatsoever saying something crass.
"Since you seem to be so interested in asking me when we are having sex, which is what you are asking me when you inquire about a baby, I will tell you we do have a lot of sex, thank you. However, we prefer to (insert crass sexual act here), which is not conducive to conception. however, should we choose to change our sexual practices, I will let you know. What's your cell number?"

I can offer you this, the longer it takes, the less people ask!
We have been trying for 26 months and NO ONE asks anymore. They wait for us to bring it up. We are pretty vocal people to begin with, but when it started taking longer and longer, people stopped asking.
It's hard, but I think it is second nature for people to ask. Only if you have been there could you know how hard it can be.
Hopefully she won't ask anymore, but if she does, take Michelle with you

That is actually....unbelievably rude!
I would tell her how rude that is. She is not family and not someone to be in your life 10 years from now so you don't need to worry about insulting her.
If she brings that up again, please tell her how rude, on so many levels, that question is. You'll be helping her by putting her in her place!

I see her every week, so unfortunately I can't put her in her place because I'll feel bad. I know she means well by asking, but considering the point Im in in TTC; our 4th months now; it makes me uncomfortable, but she doesn't know that and Im not going to tell her, so Ill make up excuses until I do get pregnant, which hopefully will be soon
