Hey salesguy at Buy Buy Baby
The ONLY thing I asked you was whether you had the long sleeve sleep sacks in a size large.
I did not ask you for a 5 minute tirade on my poor parenting skills and how I was putting my child at risk of SIDS due to overheating.
Yes, I do know they make sleep sacks that are sleeveless. I have those too. What I wanted was the LONG SLEEVE ones.
You do not know what temperature I keep my house at night. You do not know what I dress my child in to sleep and you do not know my child's comfort level.
Don't tell me that I should dress DC the same way I would dress myself and then ask me what kind of pajamas I put DC in and then persist in telling me that if I have him in fleece pajamas and a sleeveless sleep sack he should be fine and anything more would be overheating him and CONTINUE TO ARGUE WITH ME that I DO NOT NEED a long sleeve sleep sack.
SHUT YOUR STUPID MOUTH and GO F YOURSELF, but wait, first, why don't you bring your sorry A $ $ into the stock room and go find me my size large LONG SLEEVE sleep sack.

For some reason this thought came into my mind...did he appear old enough to have a child? Could he or someone he is close with have lost a child to SIDS? He sounded very passionate about it and sounds like he may have been trying to help, maybe if even a bit too aggressively. Just a thought...

He looked like he was in his 40's, and not the most intelligent looking, being that he was a floor salesman at BBB, and he was generally just annoyed that people in the store were asking for his help. There were 2 people in front of me and he was rude to them too.

Well then in that case....I see how annoying that would be.

That stinks.. It is annoying to get a lecture when all you asked was a simple question.. but maybe he was just trying to be helpful?? I bet he probable runs into alot of moms/dads that are just clueless to things.. Not to defend him..
eta: just saw your above post about him being rude to others too.. he must just be an azz in general.

However, I don't think they make sleep sacks in long sleeves for any size larger than 9 months. I've been looking for them too! If you find them let me know!

I've seen the large ones occassionally in the store and you can order them online at Amazon.
Kiddopotamus makes the Dreamsie Sleeper in Large for 16-24 lbs.

You should have told him you wear the long sleeved sleep sacks they make for adults, and you are trying to dress your DC the same way you are dressed to sleep.
