I need to share my ghost story and see what you think!

Ok, so this isn't about my school, haha. It's about my own house So last night our friend was over visiting and I was telling him about my school and how we think it's haunted, so we got onto the subject of ghosts. I played him the audio files that I have from my school and it got us talking about theories about ghosts. It was about 1 in the morning, and my husband said, "I really do have a feeling there's someone still here in the house." And as we were discussing it, one of Ava's toys turned itself on and started going off. This has NEVER happened before. Ever. So, it scared the ever living sh-t out of us, and as JT walked over to it, right before he got to it, it shut itself off So I know it's not much, but we spent the next half hour trying to figure out how the damn thing went off on its own. It's never happened before and we couldn't recreate it. Then JT told me that one morning a few weeks ago, Ava woke up and he could hear her on the monitor saying, "Hi ghost! You have to go away!" and then when he went to get her, she said, "Daddy, I don't like when the ghost pushes on my back." I don't know what's going on in my house, but it's freaking me out!

You should totally call Ghost Hunters to come out and investigate. I bet they would check out your house AND your school. They have a soft spot for cases that involve kids.

i probably would have tossed the toy out the window i would have been so freaked out.

that does sound freaky as hell--especialy about your daughter saying hi to a ghost and stuff...omg yeah, i'd be a little frightened. lol

That happens to us sometimes too, in the middle of the night DD's toys will start making noise in her playroom, but I already knew this house had someone in it

Like the PP said, atleast it's a friendly ghost!

I was told by a psychic that I am the one who is followed and that no matter where I move I'll always have ghosts, but they are friends of mine who have passed and it's good to have them with me because it keeps all bad spirits away.

We're moving into an apartment in my sister's house January 1st and she has already warned me that the new house is haunted and he really likes to let us know he's there!

i totally believe it!!! in our old house, my mother used to tell me that her father/my grandpa used to visit her in her room.

then she moved into a smaller bedroom on the first floor and I took her old room. in the middle of the night i felt someone was in the room with me....i screamed SHE'S DOWNSTAIRS!!!
to this day i'm convinced it was my grandpa looking for my mom in the same room!

I know it sounds far fetched and who the heck knows if the toy thing really was a ghost, but still, I'm always wondering. My husband has alluded to the fact that he saw something in our house, but whenever I ask him, he denies it and says he was just kidding. I think he has seen the husband of the previous owner and doesn't want to tell me and scare me. I've said out loud in here that I don't mind if there's a ghost here, so long as it doesn't scare me and my family.
