I have and (would continue) to wear on my toes. As for my fingernails, I think I am too old. But I wear Russian Navy by Opi which is very dark and kinda has a "black" polish effect.

nay. I'm not a fan of really dark polish on me. Sometimes I do like deep burgundies and things on other people, but black just doesn't do it for me...

Black- Nay
VERY VERY VERY dark blue, purple, red -Yay on very short nice nails. IMHO they should be "done" either acrylic or a good manicure to make it work
I feel like you need another color to make it less harsh. 100% black polish makes me think of being 5 and painting my nails black for Halloween as a child in the bathroom

actually is you go a really dark burgundy color it looks close to black polish. It looks much nicer if thats the look you want.

Some people can pull off the dark polish. I don't think it looks good on me.
I will agree that it needs to be done correctly on short nails. I would prefer a dark burgundy.

Nay. I like really dark colors like dark burgandy or even the really dark purples, but black..not so much. It's too harsh for me.
