I think I totally have a prego belly now -
And at 21 weeks it's not going to go away by tomorrow morning like my evening 'bloat' has been so far - I think now it's here to stay - and just get bigger !! -
I think I have to cave and get a few pairs of maternity pants - the bella band is fine, and while I can still technically button my pants, they are NOT comfortable ..........
Any suggestions for nice maternity pants that don't scream 'frumpy pregnant woman' ??? !!!
ETA: and I KNOW you're going to ask me to post pics - but I honestly don't have any yet. - I will ask DH to take some this weekend and I'll post my roundness for you all -

I was about say post pics..
I got jeans from Old navy and dont scream frumpy prego lady.. not like the old school chick jeans my sis wore when she was prego.. those were frumpy!!
I also got nice maternity cords. from motherhood maternity in source mall.
eta: i meant motherhood, not mimi.. mimi was a bit $$.

I get my "work" pants at Mimi. They have cheaper ones that look the same at Motherhood but I don't like how they fit...to me the Mimi ones fit and lay better so I don't mind spending the extra money.

Re: I think I totally have a prego belly now -
Thanks - I guess I have to just try on @ the store and see what brand works best for my tush and the rest of my 5'2" body !! -
Maybe I'll hit the maternity store next to my OB's office tonight after my appt. - They have Motherhood, Mimi and Pea in a Pod (and I will walk through that section w/ my eyes and wallet closed .........b/c DH would NOT be happy if I spend $150 on a pair of pants I'm inevitably going to b*tch about looking fat in !!)

Re: I think I totally have a prego belly now -
My favorite maternity jeans have been the Mavi jeans I got from Mimi Maternity store. They where really expensive though. I also like my Mimi Maternity jeans. Mimi Maternity also has nice work pants. You can also try Gap and Ann Taylor. I have had good luck with both.
Oh, and I'm only 5'1". I bought a few petite pants and I just hemmed the rest. I have two pairs of Motherhood pants, which don't fit as well as the Mimi brand. They are cheaper though.

Re: I think I totally have a prego belly now -
Gap had really nice pants. I had to hem some of them because I am short. But everyone keeps telling me "they can't believe I'm not in materity pants yet". Then I show them that I am and they are like, "omg how cute they are".
SO I think that is a pretty good endorsement.

I've bought pants from just about everywhere and the most comfortable (and no, they are not frumpy) are from JC Penney

I bought all my pants from Motherhood.
To me they are the most bang for your buck.
I did not want to spend a ton on maternity. I got most of my maternity clothes from there.
