Mom's who give their DC Organic Milk
Where is the least expensive place to buy it? I just went to the grocery store by my house and paid $3.99 for half a gallon on sale....regular price is $5.19.
I'm definitely giving DD organic milk no matter the price but was wondering where is the cheapest to buy it. I live in NYC but I go to LI every weekend to see my Mom and I can stock up there. TIA

Waldbaums is $3.49 BJ's is $3.29. I only give organic to DD and those are the best prices I've found.

I go to BJ's, and whats great is the shelf life is so long, you can pick up a bunch at a time.

I also buy Nature's Promise which is the Stop N Shop Organic. I think it's a little cheaper (maybe $3.79 or less). Plus every 5 or 6 you buy, you get a coupon for a free milk.
The only place I have seen cheaper milk is at Fairway. I think it's $2.99 there if that is a convenient store for you to get to. It's not convenient for me so I've only gotten it a couple of times.

I was just at Fairway and 100% organic is up to $3.99 for their brand.

I get the 3 pack at Costco for 10 bucks so they are 3.33 each.
I also try to get Nature's Promise when on sale becuase you get free milk coupons.

fairway (in plainview) has store brand organic milk for 2.99 / half gallon... this is what we buy every week

I get stop n Shop's brand - I think it is like $3.69. But we do alternate sometimes so she isn't getting the same brand all the time - the others are in the $4 range.

Cheapest I've found is BJ's. I agree with previous poster about the shelf life being long and being able to stock up. I bought milk therenyesterday and the date on it is 01/04/09.
