36 Week appt....Internal or Not??
Do you think I will be getting an internal?
I already had my strep test done.

I would say so. I think every week now you will get them.
I had my first internal and strep test this week at 35 weeks. I know every week now is an internal for me.

I had my first internal at 37w and it's only because we were trying to make a decision regarding delivery...typically my doctor doesn't start them until 38w. Could go either way!

Not every doctor does internals.
Mine never did. She only did them if you were past due.

My dr generally doesn't start them until 38 weeks. At 37 wks and 3 days, I was offered one and had it because I was curious to see if any progress was being made. I didn't think it was bad at all.

yeah, this time around since i have a planned section my dr. does not want to touch me in fear of "stirring" anything up too soon... needless to say i have been VERY happy not to have to do them  ...
