Did u register for a walker and a stationary entertainer
I feel so greedy putting all this stuff on my registry. I almost feel like if i dont put so much i am more opt to get what i really need. If you did put a walker how did you go about registering for one.

Re: Did u register for a walker and a stationary entertainer
I had no interest in a walker both for safety reasons and for the fact that I don't want my walls destroyed because of the baby bouncing off them in the walker. The stationary entertainer is plenty.

Re: Did u register for a walker and a stationary entertainer
We didn't register for a walker because of safety issues. When my brother was little, I remember him tumbling down a flight of stairs in his walker He's okay, but I never got over seeing that. Also, the AAP doesn't recommend them. DS is perfectly content in his exersaucer

I did not register for a walker. Consumer reports considers them a safety hazard and I also am not a fan of them...
I did register for
Exersaucer Jumparoo Bouncer Swing Playmat
And 4 were bought to my surprise!

Re: Did u register for a walker and a stationary entertainer
I only registered for the stationary entertainer, but I also received a walker. I use them both. One upstairs and the other downstairs.

Re: Did u register for a walker and a stationary entertainer
Did not register for a walker for safety issues. Also, I have read that they may delay babies walking. My Baby bargains book discourages the use of them.
I'm either going to register for the jumperoo or the exersaucer. I'm still undecided. I have a small apartment and I don't want too many things.
Register for whatever you want. People will buy you what they want. Plus, people like when there is alot of things to choose from.

Re: Did u register for a walker and a stationary entertainer
I registered for a jumperoo. I didn't register for a walker b.c I had read safety issues with them and our ped told us not to use one. But you should register for what you think you will need or want - I wouldn't worry about having both on there.

Re: Did u register for a walker and a stationary entertainer
I just registered for the stationary entertainer. My house is kind of small so I figured that would be enough.

Re: Did u register for a walker and a stationary entertainer
We didn't register for a walker because my pediatrician said that they are no longer recommended due to safety issues. I also didn't register for the exersaucer or the jumparoo, and now that he is 5 months, DH and I went to Babies R Us ourselves last week and got them ourselves. I regret not putting them on my registry, I would say go for it. Don't feel greedy...that's what a registry is for!! You may not get everything, but you'll never know if you don't put it on!

Re: Did u register for a walker and a stationary entertainer
Walkers are really unsafe, so we didn't get one. I know lots of people buy them, but I would skip it myself.
A stationary entertainer is nice though. Either the exersaucer, or we got a Fisher Price Laugh and Learn table that DS loves.

Re: Did u register for a walker and a stationary entertainer
I never registered fro a walker with my DS because I did not want one. I ddi register for an exersaucer, swing, & playmat and my DS loved them all. I really think how much you put on your registry also depends on how many people are coming to your shower. I mean if you think you are going to have 50 people and have 200 items on the registry than you may get some things that are not as essential. I remember after my shower there were a few things I returned and instead bought other things off the registry that I felt I needed more. I never completely bought all the things off my registry because later on I decided i did not need some of the left over stuff.
ETA: Do not feel greedy. Register for what you really want and need.
