Chicco Key Fit 30...
does not fit into any Snap n go/universal stroller things?
This is what I was told in BRU AND BBB! How does that make sense? You get a bigger seat to use for a heavier baby, but you have to carry it unless you get one of their travel system strollers?
Does anyone have any info about this?
I am debating between this, the Graco Safety and the Snug Ride (which is only up to 22 lbs).

Really? I thought the Chicco Key Fit 30 fit into the Snap & Go (not the Graco brand though)...
Ughhhhh - just when I thought I had finally picked a carseat and stroller.

Re: Chicco Key Fit 30...
It fits, but it doesn't snap in. You have to strap it in. We still got the chicco travel system because to us, it weighed about the same as the snap and goes (to the feel).
We did not get the snap and go because we didn't feel it was secure enough to just be strapped in.

We had the Chicco Key Fit 30 for DS and had the Baby Trend snap & go. We used the straps and had no problems.

Re: Chicco Key Fit 30...
I brought up this issue a while back when I bought our Key Fit 30 and I had written to Chicco about it. Whereas the infat seat may fit in the Baby Trend, Chicco will not and cannot be held responsible should something happen to your child. The Chicco company will not endorse its use as safe with its products. They do not want to be held liable/responsible. It may very well be safe though. As of a few months ago, Chicco had no plans to make its own version of a Snap n Go which is stupid if you ask me.

same here - it fits into the one that is NOT the graco brand. the snaps do help to hold it in place but you still need to strap the seat it. works just fine for me.

Re: Chicco Key Fit 30...
There are 3 universals...
Baby Trend Snap and Go (I registered for this for my Britax infant seat)
Maclaren universal
Kolcraft Universal
I found the Kolcraft to be the worst, the seats literally teeter on the edge and never seemed sturdy to me. I found the Baby Trend Snap and Go to work the best for varying infant seats. HTH

Thank you all. This is very helpful. I think I will stick to the Graco for now.

I know. I just took the Chicco off my registry and added the Graco.
