Hey Soon-To-Mommies.........a MUST have item from a New Mommy!!!!!
Hi Girls..........just wanted to pass along a "must have" for those of you who are still in the midst of doing your registry. The BEST thing we own so far for the baby is the Fisher Price Newborn to Toddler Rocker!!!! It's AWESOME......I can't say enough about it!!! Emerson absolutely loves it!!! Whenever she's fussy or oddly, when she is a little gassy we pop her in there with the vibration on and she just relaxes and calms down. It's so soothing for her and she loves the toy bar when she's awake. She just hangs out staring at the toys vibrating away. It's really been a god send.......she's content and we get to move around the house and get things done without having to carry her around all day long. IMO..........a total MUST HAVE!!!

Thanks for the tidbit. I have heard good things about it. Had it on my registory but then pulled it off.
Do you also have a bouncer? Can you compare the two for us? thanks!

This is what I was wondering, too. We registered for the Boppy bouncer and DH just put it together the other day. It looks really cute and seems like it does pretty much the same thing...

I didn't have a regular bouncer, just the infant-to-toddler rocker, and it was the BEST! Used it every day with my now 2.5 yr old  ... and will be dusting it off in a few months for  on the way!

I am also wondering the same thing. If you get this, is it pointless to get a bouncer too?

I didn't bother with a bouncy seat because all of my friends said their babies didn't care for them. I liked that this rocker vibrates, has the toy bar, can rock or sit stationary, has adjustable incline, and can be used as she gets older. It just seemed more practical and useful than the bouncy seat. So far I'm loving it!!

I had both for my DD (bouncer & infant to toddler rocker). When she was an infant I used the Papasan vibrating chair. It has a lot more cushion than the Infant to Toddler Rocker. She spent many a nights sleeping in the papasan. I really didn't use the rocker until my DD started to outgrow the papasan chair (6 months or so). That being said, my DD still uses the rocker and she is 2.

OMG.... My DD lovedddddd hers!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am giving it a break right now b/c she has learned to sit up in it!  
She can have it back once she learns how to stand on her own w/no issue.
