which high chair did you register for
I went to bRU and they didnt have much of a selection. I did find one but i feel like i just setteled on it. How did you go about deciding. were you looking for something neutral so it would match kitchen or what. this whole process is soo overwhelming.

Re: which high chair did you register for
Do you have Baby Bargains? If not, I higgly recommend it. I basically looked through there, read comments about the products on the BRU website, and researched stuff on LIF. I went with the Fisher Price Rainforest one. I'm not a fan of the pattern, but it was highly rated. For a high chair, I felt that function was more important than the look.

Re: which high chair did you register for
I went with the Fisher Price Healthy Care High Chair, because it seemed to have the best reviews. It isn't exactly my favorite style, but I do like the features and safety aspects.
I had looked at one of the wooden Eddie Bauer ones because I liked the looks of it and then spoke with a Mom who has it and she found it difficult to clean and said that her child can easily climb out of the straps! I looked up reviews on it and many people seemed to have a problem with the restaints not being designed well. At that point I decided to screw looks and go for safety and function.

we registered for the fisher price space saver.
i hate anything big and bulky- walkers, bouncers, play pens, swings... so naturally i registered for stuff that was nice and compact...
thankfully the fisher price space saver got excellent reviews on the bru and baby bargains book!

Re: which high chair did you register for
we started out with the wooden Eddie Bauer one and it was horrible!!!! It does not recline which is actually important in the beginning.
so needless to say my mom now uses that one at her house.
we now have the Fisher Price Rainforest and LOVE it!!! not the best pattern but love the chair. and the toy that came on top actually kept DD occupied when she was little and we tried to feed her. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!

Re: which high chair did you register for
Space Saver... it hooks onto a kitchen chair- less bulky- easy to travel with- one less piece of furniture in the house.

Re: which high chair did you register for
I hate them all at BRU and BBB. I think I am going to buy one myself thru target's website. Graco has a few that only target sells so I may do that.
I don't want to settle either and that's what I would be doing to register for any of them.

Re: which high chair did you register for
I registered for the Space Saver too (and it's already purchased!).
It fits a child up to 50bs., reclines to 3 positions, converts to a booster and is compact so great for small apartments!
Not to mention that it's not too childish looking and has great reviews.
Edited to say: Forgot to mention that it's also portable and only $50 bucks, half the cost of most other high chairs. :D

I was thinking of this one too. I love the look of the Peg Perego Prima Papa, but baby bargains didn't give it a great review.
I also like the boon, but it looks so hard to me, not sure if DC will be comfy

I went for this one too....it folds up and got good reviews. The fact that it folds was key for me, since I live in a shoebox.

Re: which high chair did you register for
Im using same one I had with dd.. the fisher price space saver.. it saved room, plus i like the idea it attaches to a kitchen chair.. the higher high chairs..those long legs freak me out that they may collapse.
