can you tell where or how your baby is in your belly?

i have no idea where the legs and the head are located?!?! i feel kicks all the times but not sure if what i feel is a kick or a punch..

are you in tune with your baby's positioning?

i have no idea except for what the sonogram showed. the sono showed 's head above my belly button, so unless he has moved, that is where i think he is right now.

i dont feel any kicks or punches. the only way i know its alive is the positions it changes. that i can tell by how hard my stomach is and sometimes it leans on somehting and its uncomfortable.

Most of my kicks are so high, up way near my sternum. Head down I assume, feet up.

Def not and I'm always surprised when people can!

I just had a sono though so I have a general idea that he is head down with his butt in the air and hands and feet below (like an upside down V) which makes sense since I feel most of the movement pretty low.

Its difficult for me because there are two in there and I feel movement all over the place. Most of it is concentrated on the right side- the last time I had a sono baby A was head down on that side and baby B was on top of him, transverse. I think B likes to put her legs over her head so there is kicking in the same spot from both of them. In the past week or so I have felt more activity near my bladder (yay) so I think baby A may have shifted and either flipped or is punching my bladder. I am pretty sure baby B is in the same position she was before - because I think she wedges her head under my ribs sometimes - and I guess when she stretches I feel some kicks on the left side.

It frustrating because I can't tell which is which and I just want to know that both babies are moving around like they should be.

I can't tell, I still feel most of the good kicks down low, so I assume s/he is still upright. I'm 28 weeks, so I think the baby is supposed to start turning soon, but I really ahve no idea

I just read something about this in the Your Pregnancy: Week By Week book. We're due around the same time. At the point, it's still too early to really tell where the body parts are. I think towards the end, it will start becoming more obvious whether you feel a kick, elbow, etc.

Most of the kicks I feel are above my belly button, but I also feel some movement much lower.

My last sono showed with her head in my elvis her shoulders and back curving up my left side, her butt just under my boobs and legs down the right side. So when she stretches her legs, they go right into my ribs!

I'm really not sure how people can tell, either. I had an MRI done 2 weeks ago, and at that point she was head-down. I think she's still head-down, and DH is sure that he felt her butt on the left side of my tummy today

I also keep feeling something hard and pointy to the side of my belly button, it's most likely a knee or an elbow, who knows?

Mine are on opposite sides of my stomach in opposite positions. Baby A is head down and sort of curved over the top of my belly button laying on his side-I can feel his but on my left side and his feet kicking above that. Baby B is along my right side straight up and down and breech-he recently moved. I used to feel his kicks on teh right side of my belly button but now they are much lower.

Sometimes I can feel something round poking out on the sides of my stomach, but I have no idea if it's her head or her butt!
I get kicks all over the place, up under my ribs, some down really low, most of them are to the sides though.

I'm thinking my little guy is still head up. I'm beginning to get a little concerned since I'm nearing 33 weeks and he really should be head down by now. I'm hoping I'm wrong though!
