I just took the car seat out of the box...
and I can only look at it and say omg...this is getting very real! I can not believe I wil be the mother of two in 7 weeks!

It really puts it all into perspective. I remember the night I went into labor, going into DS's future room, grabbing the carseat and thinking "my god, I'm going to be bringing a baby home in this!"

I was expecting to read 'and I'm confused' when I opened this thread!
DH and I opened the carseat box and were totally  we then put it down and walked away from it for a month
the carseat instructions: see the car manual
the car manual: see the carseat manual
it took forever for us to be motivated enough to put one base in. We STILL haven't put the base in my car!

I have a 5 year old...I just need a refresher course with the car seat installation! you on the other hand better put that base IN!
