I think its cute! Look, its known that a shower is to "shower" the mom-to-be with gifts, so I think the picture is cute and appropriate. I wouldn't write on it "bring me gifts," of course!

I like it. I think I am interpreting it though as the image is portraying "bring a gift", not that that needs to actually be written.

im gonna agree with the last 2 posters,
i thought it was cute, and different, until i asked myself if i would send it, and i wouldnt, if i was planning my own shower..if my mother went out and picked it, then maybe it would sit better with me. i dunno just thinking out loud..
i DO think its pretty tho

It's very cute and I love polka dot design, but just as a heads up, they are kind of pricey. I think I am going to use tinyprints.com for my invites. As far as the invite's suggestiveness as far as gifts go, I have noticed several shower designs that do this. I don't think anyone would be offended. I personally wouldn't choose that invite, but that's just my taste.

I would mention who whom they should be RSVPing, though...
(the whole 'give me gifts' impression would be eliminated just by seeing that person's name)

Thanks girls, of course the bring/give me gifts would never be written on the invite, I just felt like it was implying that a little too hard. The invite would come from my mom...she is hosting, but I am "helping" her in a sense that we are planning it together.
