Spinoff to water breaking

How do you know if you have a leak or slow leak?

I remember our lamaze coach saying if your not sure then lay down for 30 minutes and then stand up. If your pants/underwear get wet then you have a leak. Does thiis work?

I had a slow leak water breaking. What I did TMI...

I went to the bathroom and peed. I made sure to wipe so that I was dry. I then sat undressed on a vynil chair (so it was easy to clean up) and got up and saw a small amount of fluid. I sat down for about 20 minutes to be sure. I also remember feeling my first contraction while I was sitting down. I called my DH and told him to come home. I called my obgyn to say I felt that I was leaking. They said go to the hospital. I took a shower and got dressed. I knew DS was breech so I had to have a c-section.

I had a "drizzle" with DS. I was using the bathroom and I was done urinating but water was coming out. Not sure about the lying down trick. With DD my water broke, it gushed and kept gushing.

I had a slow leak in the bathroom today. Turns out, there was a bottle of vinegar under the sink that had a hole in it. Apparently, vinegar is a good cleanser for bathroom germs. Go figure. So at 9 months PG, I was on the floor cleaning vinegar hoping for some olive oil and a cucumber to make it worth my while.

Can someone PLEASE get this kid out of me????????????

I had a slow leak... trickling actually. It was about 1:30 in the am and the contractions already started for about 1/2 an hour at that point. I sent to the bathroom and peed and then went into the bedroom to tell my BF that I was in labor. He told me I was probably just dehydrated and that I should drink some water and go back to bed Standing there telling him... uuummm no I am having contractions I felt a warm trickle down my leg. That was the best "I told you so" moment for me Five hours later my DS was here!

Trust me yuo will know. It will feel like you are peeing non stop. Also if you smell it it should have no smell at all. In my case with my son mine just came out like a stream and then slowly leaked out for the next few hours.
