EBF mom's ?
I got what I thought was the beginning of my period 2 weeks ago, then it stopped. Then tonight same the same thing happened, is this normal? I didn't get my period back till 6 months PP with Julia and never had any bleeding in between.

I got a period about a month after the initial bleeding stopped. It lasted for a few days like a normal period.
Then I didn't get another one for 9 or 10 months
I had trouble nursing in the beginning and was supplementing so my midwife wondered if that is why I got a period and then didn't get one for a long while.
I am not sure if what you have is a period, but I have heard many ladies here say they got periods right away even while BF'ing.

I didn't get my period untill 6 months PP. 3 months before I got my period back I would spot for 1 day. I thought every month it was my period starting but it wasn't. Then on the 6 month my period started on the same day that I spotted every month prior.

I had a period 5.5 wks PP and then a little spotting a few weeks later and since then nothing. I feel like anything goes with this!

After I had DD I would stop and start bleeding(spotting) for a good 3 months postpartum. Eventually I had to go the dr and take a progesterone shot to stop the bleeding. They were concerned about their being tissue still left inside of me, but did a sonogram and didnt see anything. But I spotted more days than I didnt.

I spotted also and I was told that I had some blood clots in my uterus. The spotting has stopped even though I never passed the clots. One doctor told me I may need a D&C and the other told me to leave it alone bc the blood clots aren't a big deal...

I had one day of bleeding when my DS was 4 months old, and I thought it was my period but it wasn't. Don't know what the heck it was, but I didn't end up getting my period for another 2 months.

I just got my period back a month ago - and DD will be 1 next week. After the initial bleeding - I never saw any!

I EBF DD#1 for nine months and did not get my . for 18 months(9 months after I stopped nursing)
I just Stopped Bf'ing DD#2 about 4 days ago at 3 1/2 months and so far nothing.
I do have irregular .'s though.
