Andrew started day care today
DH dropped him off and stayed a bit. He was crying a lot at first, but when I called to check on him at 9:30, he was playing with a drum and had eaten some pancakes earlier. 
It's like starting back to work all over again, between missing him and now worrying that he'll be OK and that they'll be nice and kind to him.
Hopefully this will be a good experience...

I'm becoming a nag I think -- I've called twice to check on him. Last time she said he was interacting nicely with the other babies and they all were listening to a singer that came in.
So far so good I hope!

Aww, sounds like he's doing wonderfully there. I am sure its much harder on mommy!
Can I ask where you enrolled him? Its not out of the question for us now that #2 is coming and I may look into it sometime. Thanks!

Day #2 is going great. He hasn't cried at all!
He is enrolled at Tutor Time in Syosset. He goes 3 days a week and we pay a little extra for the late pick up.
