Dyson Owners- Do you love it?
I have a Hoover vac, not bagless, was one of my shower gifts, too late to return so I used it. Its stinks.
May be my bday present, a Dyson.
My mom loves it...wanted to see others opinions on it, TIA!

I just bought the Dyson 18 Slim in April and I love it. I have a dog and a cat and boy does it pick up all the hair. It is easy to maneuver and turn. It is not that heavy either. I really love it it is worth the price.

I have the Yellow one and love it! I thought my carpet was clean, until I used it for the first time and saw what it picked up.

I constantly vaccuum and need a new one.
I want a dyson, but DH lives by consumer reports...I have never heard anyone say anything bad about one.

I have one - and I like it - but I LOVE my cleaning people's vacuum - it's some industrial one - so it kicks my Dysons butt!

Right now the Dyson to take a look at is the DC24 and DC25.. Those two just came out last month and I have the DC25.

Hi, i have the dc 17 the purple animal one and i love it for the carpet- totally mint for that; but for things like vacuuming the car it stinks.

Same here, except we only like ours for upstairs, which is carpeted. I find it hard to use on the woodfloors.

You're not the only one. I've had it for a couple of years, and it works well, but it's not this fantastic wonder-machine it should be for the price.

We were thinking of getting one but checked out consumer reports and it wasn't recommended. And a lady shopping in the store told us it has great suction but the hose keeps breaking.
When I moved my parents brought over their Kenmore and left it here for us. I do like the canister vacuum if you have stairs. IF you want a Dyson I believe they make a canister which is a life saver for stair vacuuming.

I never thought I would pay that much for a vacumm, but I have to say that the Dyson is the best one that I have ever owned. The commerical is true, it NEVER loses suction.....

Yes Dyson has the canister called the DC21 and hard to find DC23 which is the mac daddy of the Dyson line.
I sold exclusively the Dyson line of vacuums for 4 or 5 years and sold just over 500 with zero returns.

I have a Love - Hate relationship with mine (I have the Animal/DC07).
I used to love it...it picked up everything, but within the past 6 months, I've had to take it in for repairs and replacement parts twice ($200 later) and it just doesn't work like it used to. (Mine is 5 years old now.) I should also state that I cleaned my filter and canister regularly from day one, so I know that's not the issue.
I tried my sister's, which is an 07 and it just doesn't work as well for some reason.
I'm torn on whether I should get another Dyson or if I should start looking at other manufacturers.
