When you and DH are houseguests...
Do you do your "love thing" in the host's home? Leo is not for it at all. Thinks it is disrespectful, but I think it is fun. We are going to a house party on NYE, I asked if there was a chance that I may get lucky, and he said not to count on it I don't think it would bother me if someone did it in my home.

Re: When you and DH are houseguests...
I also agree it's disrespectful - I wouldn't want them to do it in our house.
But, I will say we HAD to once, at Thanksgiving near my O day, I had to make an exception. But it was nerve-wracking and I felt guilty!!

Re: When you and DH are houseguests...
We did only once when we were TTC. We were staying at a friends place in Jersey for a wedding--I was ovulating and we didn't want to miss the prime time!
Turns out... that's when we finally conceived!

Re: When you and DH are houseguests...
We don't if we're there for a few days, but if I'm somewhere for an extended period of time, I probably would. I could care less what people do in my house as long as it is in their bed that they are sleeping in. The idea that a friend would be on my desk is just

Re: When you and DH are houseguests...
Why is it considered disrespectful?
I have had house guests stay overnight in our guest room and I know it happened, but I didn't feel disrespected at all. I thought, go for it!!

I don't know either...is it disrepectful still if I were to strip the bed afterwards?

Re: When you and DH are houseguests...
Well I find it disrespectful because I invite my friends over to eat, drink and stay over if they need to....I don't really want to clean up their sex stained sheets when they go home...just MHO

Re: When you and DH are houseguests...
Well, I think the reason why I knew it happened is because my friend took the sheets of the bed and put them in the wash herself.
I don't know, I just didn't feel disrespected at all.

Re: When you and DH are houseguests...
We stayed at a friend's ski house, I stripped the bed before we left and threw them in the wash. I did not stick around to dry them though. When you invite a married couple over, isn't it kind of expected that they will do that?
I would expect it...

I have before, I don't see the big deal. It's not like we're swinging from the chandelier or something. It's fun to try to be extra quiet

Not for me, I invited them to my home to be guests and spend quality time with them. I EXPECT people to act like adults and contain themselves rather than teenagers who can't figure out the correct time and place.

Re: When you and DH are houseguests...
If I am a house guest - staying over night with my own bed -- then sure, why not?? ESPECIALLY since we are TTC.
But if I am at a party, I wouldn't slip into their room - or guest room -- make whoopie and then leave. At least, not in a bed...!

Even if they are married?
