I'm not sure. I think if there is a "Place" we go, we all go there. I don't believe in the idea of a good and bad place.

I believe that I die, then I rot.
I personally don't believe the spirit of an individual survives the body's death, except for the impression that the person leaves with the family, friends, and community.

yes...I believe in heaven...hell...I do not think its the devil with a pitchfork--I think my analogy is all the mistakes and grief and whatever "hell" you caused on earth--you maybe are meant to experience..if at the moment of redemption u have no soul about what you have done...

My idea of a "heaven" means that most of the people who think they are going there, won't be there....

I believe in a higher place....call it whatever you want. But I do believe there's something more after we pass on.
As for Hell...I believe people create and live in their own type of "hell" here on earth.

I like to believe heaven will be a place that I get to reunite with friends and family again. I also like to believe they look down on us. But do I really think this is true...no.

this discussion comes up a lot with my neighbors for some reason. they cannot understand how i don't believe in either heaven or hell. they say that they will pray for me.
but i believe that when you die, you die. that's it. i don't think that when i die, i'll see my grandparents. i know a lot of people that do believe this will happen and to be honest, if they are right...then i'm all for it. i would love to see loved ones again and go to a place they call heaven.
but to me...right now...i just don't see anything beyond a ground with dirt on top of it. (i kind of wish i believed something nicer...)

Yes I believe in both.
I believe that Heaven isn't based on who did right or wrong but who had faith in God, and who has asked for forgiveness...
I also believe that everyones Heaven is different, filled with your most beloved people, favorite memories, favorite places etc...
