Re: which bottles to register for...
it's almost a spinoff to the glass/plastic debate....
I've read that babies are fickle... you have to find the bottle brand a baby likes by trial and error. it may be good to register for 1 or 2 of several different brands....
on the flip side, I'm not taking my own advice I registered for one brand of glass bottles.... I think it was evenflo?

Re: which bottles to register for...
I bought a small pack (3) of two kinds...I tried only one and she liked it enough that we stuck with it (I BF so it was only for supplementing with pumped milk and when I was away from the baby)...we bought Dr. Browns and the Playtex Drop-Ins (which were suggested by the pediatrician) and stuck with the Drop-Ins

I noticed you can ask 10 people and get 10 different answers. Consumer reports and my book recommend registering for a couple of gift sets to test out what your baby likes. You can start with Dr. Brown's then the baby may like drop in's or vice versa...it is all the baby's choice. You will know and experiement with them. Good luck!

I registered for Avent and Dr. Browns - my sister's recommendation from her experience with 2 kids.

Re: which bottles to register for...
My DD hated the Avent ones, so I had to go out and buy all new bottles. She ended up liking the Playtex Air Vent ones.
My DS will take basically anything with a nipple!

Re: which bottles to register for...
I just added bottles to my registry today. My friend recommended the Born Free plastic bottles because they contain no Bisphenol A. I also registered for the Playtex Drop Ins. I figured I would try both and see which one the baby prefers.

Born Free - they don't have Bisphenol A in them.
