I would pop the card/giftcard into an envelope, address it to her home and mail it back to her, with a note saying that it's inappropriate.

I would be annoyed, but I don't think I would direct my anger at DH if he is not encouraging the attention. I wouldn't want him to stop telling me about these incidents. However, I would express very calmly and clearly how I find it disrespectful and that he'd better not be encouraging this in any way.
