Sorry, totally TMI...

but, I am on CD16 and have had some mid-cycle spotting for the last two cycles-- which have also been off BC. Both times, the spotting has occurred when I thought I was probably ovulating. My last two cycles have been long, 45 and 40 days respectively with spotting on CD28 and CD26. So, they are getting shorter-- but I don't think I would ovulate this early-- unless my cycles became, gasp, NORMAL.

Anyway, after BDing, I went to the bathroom and noticed (in the toilet) that I was bleeding. I finished my period about a week ago also, and this was bright pink-- so it was not remnant blood.

I haven't experience this before and I know my cycle has been totally kooky since being off BCP with all the symptoms and whatever.... should this be cause for concern?

I also have not had any other indication of ovulating-- although, I have had some slight cramping-- but my stomach has been totally queasy the last couple of days, but nothing on the OPKS.

Re: Sorry, totally TMI...

I've had this happen once or twice after BDing. Not sure what it was but my doctor told me not to worry about it.

thanks-- that is helpful. I am going to call my doc tomorrow anyway just in case. I am sure it's no big deal, but you just want to hear someone say that.

Re: Sorry, totally TMI...

It's happened to me as well. I also really always thought it was just remnant blood or that something was torn/ripped. My doc told me that it just happens and that I shouldn't worry.

Good Luck!!

Re: Sorry, totally TMI...

I didn't spot at all with my DD but with this pregnancy - I was charting, using the CBEFM, etc. and I spotted the day of my ovulation - which led to a BFP. Good luck!

Re: Sorry, totally TMI...

This is pretty graphic but I was told my Doc a long time ago that this type of spotting after BD is the cervix getting slightly scraped and causes spotting.
