yea - i have never even contemplated that. I bought a whole bunch at IKEA for $1 and toss them when they get yucky.
I might try the disposable ones

I don't "clean" it but I hold it under steaming hot water after every use and poor a little bleach on it.

I clean my toilets 2x per week with bleach, and keep my toilet brush in its holder w/a mix of bleach & water.

But into where? Your tub?
I wouldn't put mine near my tub that's why I never clean it. I figure it just keeps getting grossness on it when you scrub your toilet, plus I usually use the tolier cleaner with bleach so that must help when I use it each time to clean it.

I never "clean" it per se. I thought it was getting clean as I use the toilet cleaner and brushing the side of the toilet with it.

Even though I clean it with bleach.......when I am done with it, I hold it over the toilet bowl and pour Actual bleach all over it.........then put it back in its holder.........
