tyra trying to be the next oprah? does this bother anyone else?
she had a show on the bra size issue.. same infamous topic oprah had on her show awhile back.
everytime i see a commercial for her show, i feel like she is trying to take her place as the next oprah.
does this bother anyone else??

It does not bother me at all.
She has BIG shoes to fill. She has some work to do to come even close.
Oprah is more than a show. She has charities, LOTS of very influencial friends. She is one of the most American influencial female herself.

I thought the same thing when I saw part of that show. I agree. She annoys the crap out of me. I feel like she is so fake and full of herself. Her emotions when she talks to someone on her show do not seem genuine to me.

Tyra bugs me. She seems so full of herself. At least Oprah always gave me the feeling that she is a very generous person and caring about others, even if she is a demanding boss.

OPRAH never tried to be anyone else but herself. Tyra on the other hand tries to hard to be someone other than herself. Can't stand her!

I agree , she is fake and annoying, and I have never been a fan of hers , but the fact is , she is still making millions and her show is doing really well, SO what does she care if people think that she is trying to be next Oprah, I am sure she knew that was going to be the case when she decided to create her show. I give her a credit for being brave.

I'd wager that Oprah was already OPRAH at the same age that Tyra is still tyra.
Tyra is too over the top dramatic and goofy.

I really liked Tyra at first, but after attending her show a few weeks ago, i have to say, that i don't like her very much now. She is very fake, her shows are fake. They hire actors for the show. During commercial breaks, she has no interactions at all with the audience. She seems to be so down to earth, but she's not.

Im not surprised. That whole down to earth attitude she tries to portray on ANTM seems so fake also. I cant stand listening to her speak.

Yes, this is exacly how I see her. Crying & hugging you with that "I care" look & kickin ya in the azz once the cameras are off. I also hate how over the top she gets. She looks so goofy, it's actually uncomfortable!

Oprah buggs me, but seems like she is who she is on the Harpo set and off. Tyra's show reminds me of someone TRYING to be the next Oprah, but really coming off as the next Jerry Springer. Her guests annoy me the MOST

I LOVE on The Soup (VH1) where they make fun of Tyra one every episode. They are always pointing out how she has to be the center of attention (did anyone see ANTM this week with her as the prom queen?  )
