TTCers- BCP Q???

How long after getting off the pill did you start to O again? I got off the pill at the end of November and had AF in December and January, I'm almost 100% positive that I didn't O again this month, I should have Oed yesterday. Help please! I can't try to get preggo if I'm not Oing!!! I'm getting very down about this.

hi!

i stopped the pill august 8th
i didnt get AF until september 27th; then not again until november 27 and then january 4th

i didnt start charting until sept 27 so i dont know how long it took the first time
since then, its around CD20

get an OPK kit! Then you'll definitely know if you O'ed...

Don't guess when / whether or not you O.... I tried that, and it didn't work....

Hi Jerilyn - This may be a silly question but how do you know you haven't been ovulating? Do you chart or use OPKs? I went off the pill in Aug. and my cycle became irregular over the past few months so I wasn't sure if I was ovulating either. I bought the CBEFM...I highly recommend that or OPKs if you haven't been using anything...

I went off the pill in Sept and it took 48 days to get AF. I didn't start using OPK's until Nov. and never got a positive that month. I got my first smiley face in Dec., my second in Jan. and a BFP 2 weeks later. Don't worry, it just might take some time for your body to get back to normal. Good luck!!

Before I had my daughter I had definite EWCM exactly 2 weeks after the first day of AF. Actually, the last time I saw that was a day after I BDed with DH. I haven't had any EWCM while on the pill and haven't seen it since being off.

I haven't bought a OPK yet b/c I'm cheap and thought I'd be able to figure it out myself. But since being off the pill my cycle has been regular but I haven't had any O symptoms.

My stepMIL said it could take 3 months (she's a nurse). I'm just getting sad. I wanted to have the next baby before 2009. I guess I'll have to spring for the OPK.

Dr says it could take anywhere from 1-6 months, about 3 on average. I haven't gotten a "true"positive on the OPK yet, but I might not have been holding my urine long enough.
