ovulation question
I hear different answers all the time regarding how our body ovulates. Does anyone REALLY know does it alternate every month from which side drops the egg or is it just a race between both ovaries and which ever one releases the egg first is the chosen side for that month???

Re: ovulation question
I know for me, it has been only my left for the past 3 cycles. My dr told me my left ovary is bigger than my right so I am not sure if that has anything to do with it But when I had my son, I know that I ovulated off the right because I had a corpeous luteum cyst in it.

same here - i wasn't usually able to tell what side i O'd on until afterwards b/c i didn't get O pains, but the corpus luteum cyst that forms is painful for me sometimes, and that's what i feel.
i definitely O'd on the left the month i got PG because it still hurts sometimes!
it's not true that we alternate each month - whichever side has the most mature follie will be the side that O's. it's a 50-50 shot.
