 Stephy im so sorry to hear. I actually have tears in my eyes for you. I will pray for you tonight in the chapel at work. Lets stay positive.. we will help you through the next 10 days. Im here if you need to talk. I can just imagine how you are feeling. The fact that the sac is getting bigger has to be a great sign. How have you been feeling? Your in my thoughts and prayers.

I had something similar happen to me with this pregnancy. I went to the doctor when I thought I was 7 weeks but all they saw was the sac. They said that because my cycles are long, mine were between about 32-35 days, that I was not really 7 weeks. When you have longer cycles you are going to be a week behind. So that would make you only 6 weeks in which it would be perfectly normal to only see the sac.
They had me go for a sono 2 weeks later and they were able to see the baby. So I hope you have the same outcome. Good luck

With your numbers being as high as you mentioned and if your dates are off, I'm thinking that you are simply earlier than you thought. 10 days is a long wait...maybe you can get in earlier with one of his associates.

Steph, I'm sure your dates are all wrong! My LMP was Nov 25th, and I have a 28 day cycle. I'm 7w and 4d. Your probably in your 6th week.

I'm so glad you posted this. I thought I am 7 weeks but when they did blood work I fall in at 6 weeks. My cycles are very irregular so I am guessing this is the case. I have to go for an ultrasound early next week.

Same thing happened with me and I was simply not as far along as they thought..my hcg levels were great, even high, but my progestrone levels were really really low....by LMP my due date should of been 8/26/07 but b/c I had ovulated late my actual due date was 9/14/07. DS was born on 8/20/07 (he's my avatar)...Good Luck!

Lisa thank you for asking...
I am thinking positive at this point....I received alot of FMs from women who went through the same thing and it ended up being a miscalculation and everything turned out fine....so thats what i believe...given my long cycles and possibel late ovulation...
I have also concluded that my doc is a jerk for even scheduling a d & C at this point....
I wont know until next Monday...
