i had something similar happen to me when i was pregnant with dd..i got preggo first month after the pill so i think thats why when i went they only saw the sac and they were cautiously optimistic about the pregnancy since i could have been earlier then i was..i had to go back a week or so later and then they heard the heartbeat..im hoping the same thing will happen for you
I'm just going to pray that there's a heartbeat when you go back....

I had a sono at what my Dr. thought was 5w6d (*I* knew I was earlier) and we saw no fetal pole or hb. I was actually 5w1d and when I went back after 5 days we saw it. It was the longest 5 days of my life. What is your OB's reasoning for waiting 10 days?
My OB's reasoning for waiting 10 days is that he'll be on vacation all of next week and would rather he sees me rather than his associates.
He also scheduled the D & C from today b/c he says they take 10 days to schedule so if we see nothing on the 28th then he wants me to go for a D & C on the 29th at the hospital....(if needed)
