Babies R Us Frustration
So DH and I went to BRU a few weeks ago to register. We spent so much time on the registry.......and now my SIL called me (I know about my shower) and told me that BRU said a lot of the stuff I registered for is discontinued. There is nothing crazy that I registered for and I have not received anything via email and there is nothing online that says its discontinued......has anyone else dealt with this? What did you do? I don't mind updating my registry but how the heck am I supposed to know what items are discontinued?

I'm having a problem with this also. There were a few items I wanted that are discontinued and the new models arent in yet.

BRU seems to be clearing alot of the styles out. THey have got some new stuff in but not much. I see alot of the stuff is on clearance and/or not in stock. It s u c k s. Sorry

I've noticed stuff on clearnace and the new stuff arriving. My guess is b/c it is a new year. In with the new and out with the old.

Maybe u can try updating the registry online as long as they have the new items on the website.

A few items came up right away with the * and the lady told me that it could mean that the item was discontinued. She checked the other stores and there were several of each item left in the other stores. Also, I think if people purchase the item on line, there's a good chance the warehouse has it. I just want my bouncer!!! It's on the discontinued list... I'm thinking of just buying it myself.

They told me when I went to register what was being discontinued... but I only had a few things and they weren't anything that I simply couldn't pick a different one of .. sorry you are having so much trouble, it hasn't really affected me that much
