Tall ladies - what items are good to register for?
Im 5'11 and DH is 6'2. I want a stroller that is comfy to push, etc and that wont strain my back
And what about cribs. Are there some that are better for us taller ladies with reference to bending over, etc.

I'm 6'1" and DH is 6'6"- so I understand wher you are coming from!
I have the Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe stroller and I have to say that I have had no problems with it! I don't feel a strain at all. I registered for and got a snap and go, and it is a little low for me, so I don't use it that much.
I also have a Bob jogging Stroller, which is really high and I love it!
In terms of a crib, I have a Young America crib, which is made by Stanley, and so far, I don't have any problems with that- but have not had to drop down the mattress yet.

Re: Tall ladies - what items are good to register for?
We have the Graco Quattro Tour also. We tested a bunch of different strollers because DH was very concerned about the height. The Rock Star Baby is waaaaay too low for anyone over 5'6" IMO - the bassinet came to my knees! The Mutsy had nice height to it but I didn't want to spend that much on a stroller. DH was in LOVE with it though.
As far as cribs go I don't think that's as much of an issue for tall girls as it is for short girls. Even when the mattress is at it's lowest it will be a lot less difficult for you to bend over to reach DC than it would for a shorter woman, especially if your crib doesn't have a drop down side (mine doesn't), so I don't think you have to worry about this at all.

Re: Tall ladies - what items are good to register for?
I am 6' and my boyfriend is 6'2". We registered for the Peg Perego Venezia stroller because the handlebar is adjustable and I didn't feel hunched over it. I also felt like it had a lot of "leg room" - where my legs are when I am pushing it. I wasn't banging my knees into the back of the stroller or the wheels.
As far as cribs go, we have looked at BBB but haven't purchased anything yet. But in the showroom, I haven't found any trouble reaching in and down so I don't think that will be a problem. May get difficult when the baby gets older and you drop the mattress down.

I am 5'9" and DH is 6'2". We went w. the Peg Perego Pilko P3, love the adjustible handles. Great stroller, highly recommend it.
You may also want to look into a decent umbrella stroller for when the baby is older. DS was in the Maclaren b/c I could not hunch over enough to push the cheaper umbrella stroller, my feet would hit the wheels. DH didnt even bother trying to push it.
For cribs, I have DS in a convertible crib, with no drop down side. It felt more stable to me. I never had an issue getting him in and out.

I'm 5'8.5 and Brian is 5'10.
I got the Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe, and I have to say that when I tried it out, it felt very height appropriate.... She'll be here w/i the next 6 weeks, so we shall see how that goes!
In terms of cribs... ITA agree with what Rebecca (eroxgirl) said. I don't think the issue is for us taller women, but women who are shorter as the mattress gets lowered.

I'm 5'8" and DH is 6'3". We registered for the Chicco Cortina Stroller since it has adjustable handles depending on your height. We thought this was a very good feature.
