How many days?
Ok, so explain to me again…
How many days from when are you supposed to start trying? This is so confusing. I see why people pay money for little testers but I haven’t the cash for lunch right now much less that!
Can someone help?
And when I used Monthly Cycles . com, the first time it showed a cute calendar with bunny rabbits and then when I went back to look the bunnies were gone and now I’m lost again! grrr

get the book Taking Charge of your Fertility, it will help you chart and understand a lot about what you should be looking for.

you can't really go by which "day" as a woman's cycle can change from month to month, and it's never the same for two women!
if you cannot afford OPKs (yes, they do get expensive!!) then i would start with tracking your CM (cervical mucus).
when your CM has the consistency of egg whites, that is when you are at your most fertile. check out this website - babyhopes.com
how long does your cycle usually last? that will also help you determine when you ovulate.

on mymonthlycycles... you need to click on "ovulation calculator" to have the bunnies show up.
How long have your last 6 cycles been? Maybe we can help you figure out approximately when you ovulate.
If anything, the cheapest method is just BDing every other day!

my period lasts about 4-5 days (I miss it when it was 2 days on the pill).
And if I BD'ed everyday my hubby may die.
See, I haven't told him we're trying :)
He knows i'm off the pill, he knows we will have kids sooner or later, but I think it's too much pressure to say "HEY BABE! *snap* *snap* Hop to it, we got three days of whoopi to get through".
ya know?

Oh cool, thanks. I got my bunnies back!! 
Looks like i got one of the two most fertile days but missed the OV day
whatever. Like I said, I'm just now starting to try *shrug*

how many days do you usually have between cycles? they say the average cycle is 28 days and you ovulate on day 14. however, every woman is different. i would start BDing on day 10 of your cycle (day 1 starts with your first day of full AF) and BD every other day until day 20 or so. if you watch your CM, you will notice it will get like egg whites and then when you ovulate it will dry up. good luck
