1st appointment
Igot a bfp yesterday. :) I had to change doctors since my company changed insurance - is 3.5 weeks a long time to wait for a first appointment? I think it is an eternity

I think thats ok. My doctor told me they don't normally do sonograms until you are at your 7 week mark anyway...... I had my first visit today and it was more of a consultation and they drew blood.

1st of all.... CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2nd of all... I don't think it's abnormal... From what I've read, there have been a lot of women on here who have had to wait for their doc to do the first appointment. I would suggest going and getting some OTC prenatal vitamins to take in the interim.

When I called they said they were required to see me with in the week. I went and saw the DR. he gave me a RX for bloodwork & prenatals, a list of to dos and not to dos, a pregnancy test and an internal exam. They had me come back at 7 weeks for the first sono...
