Where do you buy ornaments?
I'd like to buy a nice ornament for a friend. Where do you guys get yours?

Normally, I think their stuff is so cute, but I looked on their website and there wasn't much that I was happy with this year except for Ralphie and they aren't into A Christmas Story

I look all over. I've found ones I like at Target, Sears, Macy's, Saks, Fortunoff, I even found a cute Santa in Ace Hardware last year that is one of my favorites. You just never know where you will find one you like.
But the Fortunoff store has a ton, it would probably be easiest to find something there.

Love Pier 1s ornaments. Really nice and Fortunoff too.
Huge selection at Fortunoff, some very ornate and fancy to some very plain. And many can be personalized then and there.

For myself? IKEA Their ornaments have that northern european modern yet folksy look.... matches our style perfectly
For a GIFT? I only go to one place!

I don't know how far you want to go but there is a Christmas store in Queens. Woodhaven to be exact. It is on Atlantic Ave and about 90th st.
