I just have to ask...
I hope this doesn't sound like too stupid of a question, but it's something that I just need to ask. I have read over and over on this board, and on various TTC websites about "checking" your CM, but my question is...exactly how do you "check" it? Obviously I know the basics of what is involved, but can anyone share with me the correct way to do it? Feel free to FM me if it is too graphic for here.  TIA!

it's ok - i was just going to post about checking!! what most of us are referring to is sticking your fingers "up there" near your cervix, where most CM collects - then you "check" what comes out on your fingers. don't be embarassed!! we are all here to help

 please don't be embarassed! you should feel it - there's only so far you *can* go! (i use my middle finger b/c it's the longest and i don't have to "stretch"). try it next time you use the bathroom - you will see it's really not hard

Ok way TMI but I never really check up there, I just go by what comes out on the toilet paper. But I guess for people that don't have as much it may be necessary to do some further investigation

Another way is after you go #2 because of the "method" you will feel CM on the toilet paper-then you can touch to see if it stretches

Same here. I don't go crazy over the CM but I get plenty of EWCM leading up to O.

i do this too - good tip! - but sometimes i need to check if i don't see any, or if my underwear is just "wet" and i don't know what kind i have

I just have to say you girls are great!!!! I'm an only child and my mom is insanely cool and a young mom, but she thinks I'm going a bit overboard with the whole TTCing thing, so I can't ask her about CM, other than the fact that as close as I am with her, there is just a line I won't cross . I'm the first one out of my friends to TTC, so I can't really ask them, so this is great, and I really appreciate all the "insight" about CM...it honestly helps me out and makes me think that I'm not the only one out there doing this!!!
