My Baby Shower was Sunday!!! NOW With PICS :) (at bottom)
It was so much fun (and went by WAY too fast for me)!
I got lots of wonderful gifts.
My mother did a fantastic job of planning & adding so many little touches to make it special.
The baby's nursery will be African Plains (where DH & I Honeymooned ), so she created adorable Safari Animal Centerpieces with little Jungle Animal chocolate pops, stuffed Zebras, Giraffes, etc...I was really impressed! Each guest also got bookmarks that can be planted & wildflowers will bloom, they had a nice poem written on them too.
We had fun games such as Baby Bingo, "Who's got the dirty diaper", and a few others.
Everyone created a "Diaper Pyramid" for me as well...Each guest brought a pack of diapers- I think we're stocked up for a while now!
The Shower was at Toque Bistro in Bellmore, the place is quaint & the food was good.
I only have a few pictures now, I will add more when people send them to me.
SIX MORE WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You look soooo good!!!! And, it sounds like you had a great shower...and what a good idea...the diaper pyramid...I've never heard of that!!! All those diapers are going to come in sooo handy!

It's hard to choose a favorite gift...
I love the bedding, I also received several hand knitted/crocheted baby sweaters, hats, and blankets, so those gifts were very special.
My mother also got me a rocking lion for the nursery (which I wanted but didn't think anyone would get!)
...and the DIAPERS!!!! Probably the most useful gift. Because of the Diaper Pyramid, I now have over 350 Size 1 diapers, a bunch of size 2's, and even some 3's & 4's. That will save us some !
