How do you wash the straps on your high chair?

Mine are encrusted with all sorts of gunk!!!!

I use a stiff tooth brush. Works well. I soak them in detergent and hot water and let them get all gooey Then I scrub a dub away. Works well!

I took them off and put in the washing machine, they come out like new.

same for the chair pad even though its vinyl.

Mine actually come off and I put them in the washing machine with the seat cover (I have a fabric seat cover on my Prima Pappa highchair).

Washing machine. I actually took them off once she got big enough to not need them because they were getting full of food everytime she ate.

I'm trying to figure how to take them off - theres the plastic thingies that get in the way so I cant get it thru the slots - and everytime I think of doing it, I'm just spent.... its always this time of night...
