Brit's Friends Say It's Mental Illness, Not Drugs, As Her Condition Worsens
Days after a judge ruled that Britney Spears could only spend three days a week with her children, she reacted by leaving her two kids in a parked car with a court-appointed monitor (whose job description does not include babysitting) as she shopped for $18,200 worth of chandeliers at the Crystal Place design shop near L.A. November 4.
Why does Spears, 25 — even after having physical custody of her kids taken away — keep exhibiting such questionable parenting skills?
Sources say the troubled pop star does not seem to grasp the gravity of her custody case, and they blame her bizarre public behavior (swapping clothes a stranger, among her recent moves) on psychological issues, not drugs.
“It’s not substance abuse — it’s mental!” a confidante tells Us.
Pals suspect adult-onset ADD or depression, with one friend saying, “Postpartum has always been a problem” after giving birth to Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1.

She is such as azz. She leaves her kids in the car while she is shopping??! The purpose of the visit is supposed to be so she can spend quality time with her kids.  Way to blame that on mental problems you idiot.

I guess they haven't realized yet that she doesn't want her boys.
Only seeing them for 3 days a week and on one of those days is when you decide you NEED $18,200 worth of chandeliers.
I seriously hope someone gets her help before she leaves her boys in the car without any supervision.

I don't know who the "friends" are but I truly believe that this is the case - have believed it from the get-go. She exhibits all the signs of untreated bipolar disorder.
As with an addiction, until the person is a blatant harm to themselves or those around her, there is absolutely nothing anyone else can do. It's very sad, actually.

I don't agree. The media is great at showing us what they want to, usually negative stuff that seems so bizarre. I think she is a product of being forced to grow up at too young of an age and she just needs to find herself. unfortunately, being in the public eye will make this an even more difficult battle.

yes in the privacy of your own home. One day I am goign to do some real study, but I cant tell you HOW MANY manic and psychotic people shave their head when they are sick...
