Since I am a city-girl and never owned a car, I have a car seat question..
DH and I am going to buy a mini-van....do the children have to sit in the second row? I ask because that third row is so uncomfortable!!!!! I would hate to ask whoever is traveling with us to sit there!
P.S. I do know that the infant seats must face backwards! LOL

Yes, second row. God forbid something happens, you want to be able to get to baby quickly. 
Plus, climbing into the 3rd row every time you take baby in/out of car would be a royal PAIN
