Re: Bedrest
I'm pretty sure it means stay in bed, though I am not on it. I'm sure you can get up too pee though.

Re: Bedrest
I was on bedrest for my pregnancies (got off a month ago). I stayed in bed a lot, but still did the usual around the house (laundry, cleaning) when I was well enough to get out I would go food shopping and take my daughter to school. now, if you have a physical condition that has you on bedrest (for instance, cervix, placenta) then I would stay in bed. move as little as possible. KWIM. If it affects the baby and will put you into labor, stay in bed.
feel better

Re: Bedrest
I was on bedrest for hyperemesis...I am actually suppose to still be on it. I tend to be off my feet more when I am work then when I was home. On days I am just not able to stay at my desk due to the nausea and vomiting, I just go home early and relax

Re: Bedrest
Im on bedrest right now....it depends on the problem you are having. Strict bedrest means getting up only to go to the bathroom, modified bedrest means no lifting, shopping, sex, or standing alot..you should be mostly sitting with your feet up--standing only when absolutely necessary. Im on strict bedrest right now until I get to a week when its safe for my baby to be born. Im allowed to go somewhere if I get dropped off right at the door, walk a couple feet and then sit down and put my feet up....other than that I am in bed all day long.

Re: Bedrest
I was on bedrest for a few days due to high blood pressure. My doctor told me only to get up to pee or shower , real fun
