1st cold?
ds isn't even 6 months yet and has his 1st cold. 
he has a dry cough and is sneezing out a lot of boogies. i've been using saline drops and the aspirator (although it made him throw up last time.)
would a humidifier help?
he's taking longer naps (3 hours), eating/drinking less, and rubbing his eyes a lot (why is that?)
what else can i do for him? how long can this last?

i was thinking maybe allergies too.. i would just call the ped and ask what you can do for him since he cant have any medicine really if it is a cold. hope he feels better

My son is 5 months old, and just got his first cold, along with a stomach virus The dr told us to use saline drops, the aspirator, and a cold mist humidifier for naps and at night. Hope your baby feels better soon!

we are there too!
BUT dd got her 1st cold at 2 months.
But for us I think it was bc she was born in the winter. Its the same thing over and over...they tell you No meds, put on the dehumidifier and use the saline nose drops. IMO...not of it works except letting the cold run its course. its just aggravating to watch your child sick.
