I had to call the police today!
I work in a bank. I walked in to the drive thru to catch the end of a tellers conversation with the head teller. She was telling her how even though she is not an animal lover she was just so upset by what she saw. Of course me the animal lover I am had to ask...
Turns out a customer was in the drive thru with his dog (a German shepherd). The dog barked and the man turned around leaved over the seats and repeditly PUNCH the dog  , The tellers mouth dropped which caused another customer to look over. The customer exchanged words with the man who told her to mind her business. The teller said the guy was punching so much and so hard that his explorer was SHAKING. I seriously can't stop thinking about it! They all told me it's a good thing I didn't see it. Normaly they call me when they have dogs cause they know how much I love them!
I called the ASPCA but no one was there. So I called the local police. At first he said it's normaly not something we do. Then I said what kind of dog it was and explained I think of my dog as my child and I certanly wouldn't punch my child. He said he would investigate it.
I am going to follow up with the ASPCA on Monday, I seriously want to go to this guys house and "steal" this dog.
ETA the minute I got home I gave rudy a big hug and kiss and took him to pet smart to buy a new bone and a toy

I only hope the police do something but sadly I don't think they will.
I am so saddened and sick of all this animal cruelty. It breaks my heart.

German shepherds are wonderful dogs - they are so smart - I'm sure someone more appropriate could adopt him!

I want to adopt him! My husband might divorce me but... I'd have 2 cute dogs

What a sick sick person! It hurts my heart so bad when I hear or see things like this happen. I am going to pray that the dog be taken away from him and placed in a loving and caring home... before it's too late. Good for you for trying to save the poor doggie. I hope there is something you can do!

That's horrible. I adore German Shepards and can't stand the thought of anyone beating an animal.
