Can we start....BTDT mom welcomed....
I was searching for a list of must haves for registry and found some scattered posts...
So I was thinking...that we can start a list of things that we are going to need.
If the BTDT moms can give their input of the "can't live without" stuff and the "total waste of money" stuff it would be greatly appreciated.
These are the things I already have on my "things to register for" list. I'm sure there is more but would love your input.
Crib
Mattress
Changing table
Mini co-sleeper
high chair, stroller, car seats
bouncy chair, swing
diaper genie
biodegradable diaper bags (instead of using genie)
bottles
breast pump (if breast feeding)
breast pads
Lanolin
bibs, wash clothes, burp clothes,
changing table covers, receiving and swaddle blankets
crib and bassinet sheets
onesies
baby books
baby spoons, sippie cups, pacifiers
hooded towels, bath tub
monitor, ear thermometer
pack and play
diapers, wipes
glider
Boppy
mat for tummy time
rectal thermometer
diaper bag
grooming kit (brush, nail clippers, etc.)
video moniter
-bottle cleaner and bottle drying rack
-Desitin
-Baby first aid kit
I will add the things recommended to this list so that the future searchers can see it.

rectal thermometer and Lanolin if you plan on BFing.
I would also wait on purchasing a breast pump to see if bfing is working for you. Plus, you can rent one for the fraction of the cost for one month to see if you even like pumping.

As someone with limited space, I have opted out of these things.
I chose the portable swing holder that works with the car seat.
And I got a super basic pack n play- without all the bells and whistles.
I would add:
diaper bag
grooming kit (brush, nail clippers, etc.)

You can register for it! My cousin did and my fam went in on it and put it together for her! That's where she sat to open her gifts!!

After all of the things I've heard..I will not be getting it....I thought it was used to wrap up the diaper and then dispose of it immediately....not that it saved it there.

That will go after it comes off the baby into the garbage OUTSIDE
